The OnePlus 7 Pro will have three cameras at the back. This is as per the recent tweet from the company. They further said in their tweet that they make phones. The camera teaser comes up with the hashtag #OnePlus7Pro. So, the setup of three cameras might remain limited to the much more premium OnePlus model that is all set to come up. It will also have an upgraded display, with rumours going around of having a 90 Hz refresh rate. The outline of the tweet made by OnePlus clearly matches up with the renders of the OnePlus 7 Pro.
The launch event of OnePlus 7 Pro is scheduled for 14th May. There are quite a number of events set to kick off in a simultaneous manner across the world on that date. As far as the cameras are concerned, hopefully, OnePlus would aim for the standard/telephoto/ultra-wide trio. This has become quite common during this year. Still, there is a chance that one of those cameras could well be a depth sensor and this would be an unfortunate thing to happen. One has always found those to be an absolute of hardware. People might want to ask if the portrait shots that are taken on an Android phone having a depth sensor are really much better than those, which do not have them or not.
OnePlus is certainly all set to take up a fresh approach on camera. This is after they have essentially made use of similar hardware in both the OnePlus 6 and 6T in the previous year. The company had made some software as well as processing improvements with the latter. Still, it remains a number of steps behind the top level phone cameras that are on the market at the moment.
